That's normal on a 987.....that's where the cup holders are so that whole piece is hinged.

If they still have it in a few weeks I might. It will need a black interior, but I have a couple of those. First, I have to get rid of the A8L that is filling my garage. Stripping started yesterday and I think it will meet the Sawzall this weekend.

This is the first time I've noticed this oval looking hole where the door-mounted woofers usually go. On 986 door panels without woofers, as think the door card is usually just smooth here. Is this thing an extra storage pocket, or what?
