When a deal seems too good to be true, it usually is! Wonder where and what the catch is.

Something looks very wonky about that 987, all the panel gaps look different sizes, the front fender looks like it's about to fall off and the colours between the arches and door in the side view look different.

You mean beside the fact that it's got a salvage title?

Today i found this Porsche 987 in a german auto sell portal.

Kilometerstand
117.000 km
Hubraum
3.600 cm³
Leistung
419 kW (570 PS)

What? Yes, they've put a Porsche M 97.70 Biturbo engine in. How did they do it? Kind of upside down. So the complete oem engine fits in the car.

2001S with 64k for $3000. He thought the motor was toasted but it turned out to be a bad idler pulley.

Lol. I had it pre-sold within 10 minutes of picking it up. The guy's mechanic even told him it was the pulley making the noise. He was leaving the country and just wanted it gone also. Lucky me

I was joking...sort of

My son will be 16 soon and I'm pretty sure he thinks dad is getting him a car. Dad hasn't even been looking

I removed the transmission, removed the flywheel, I then removed the IMS bearing cover to inspect it and the IMS bearing was in perfect condition, no axial movement. I reinstalled new flywheel bolts and a new clutch kit.
If you went to this much trouble, wouldn't you just replace the IMSB as long as you're already there?

Anyone interested in a set of H&R springs in the Boston area? Not mine and don't know the seller, seems like a good deal though.

They've divorced the engine/trans, so it sits stinkbug now.

All the weight is gone from the back.

Are those seats anything good, or just cheap poser racing seats?
