Bummer. I had a feeling it wouldn't be kept up for long. I should have taken a screenshot.
In a nutshell, it was a picture of a 2008 911 but the description was obviously of a minivan.
It had a phone number with an area code I've never seen. It was probably an attempt to fish for email or phone numbers.

The scam I've seen lately on multiple CLs is for a 2013 black 911 C4S for $33K. They have non-resident area code phone #s and it's diff # for ea city it appears. They'll have 1-3 pics and a desc that sort of fits but sort of doesn't. Have prob seen it on 5-6 diff CL sites.
If it's too good to be true, it prob is.

I just thought I'd start the thread and see where it goes. I'm intending for it to stay Porsche related, but I'm nobody's boss.
It also may do best to clip a screenshot rather than post a link, due to the transient nature of the posts.
Here's what amused me tonight, a "Porshe Boxer" headlight and a Porsche 917 ('73 VW):

That car was called a “Laser 917”. I knew someone who had one. Wasn’t a terrible car, better than a lot of kits.

Not mine, no affiliation, but if I didn't already have one I would be interested and would take a drive down there. Silver and asking $1,200, best offer.

99 with a wrecked interior and random missing parts but the classic claim of running when parked near Texas/Mexico border in MCAllen. Picked it up for 900. Let the tear down begin, I need shell for SPB.

Submitted an offer on an '07 Cayman S in Carmon Red Metallic four years ago. Offer was accepted. Deal was contingent on a clean PPI.
PPI came back with metal shavings in the oil, so the deal was off. Dodged a bullet there, but I still drooled over that Cayman draped in Carmon Red, over Sand Beige interior.
Can't imagine what it would look with a Terracotta interior. Awesome? Dunno; maybe not enough of a contrast.
Just sayin'..........
