Not a Ferrari! But it has real aluminum Ferrari bodywork, paint and wheels. A lot of effort to put into a Hyundai Tiburon, that's for sure.

He should have made it a 928 Replica. Tiburon = Shark.

I put 100K miles and went through 3 transmissions on my 2004 Tiburon Special Edition. Yellow. 2.7 liter V-6 6-speed, and I felt that 175+ HP every time. Took it to 134MPH on the 60 fwy one evening. That was a fun car I miss.
Traded it for a silver 2008 convertible Mustang. Then traded that for a 2012 convertible Mustang. Then traded that for a 2012 Edge Sport.
What do you get when you cross a Tiburon with a Mustang? A silver convertible Boxster. Yes, I fancied all aligned on that deal.

To clarify, I wasn't dissing the Tiburon, I don't know anything about them. I actually like the looks of the current Hyundai SUVs and the Genesis line. It just seems like they put a lot of money and effort into making that Tiburon look like a Ferrari.

Oh. I wasn't suggesting you were dissing the Tib. Not at all. All good.
Purchased 2 tibs that evening. Wife wanted the silver GT. I took it for a test drive, and loved it. Lots of torque steer, however. I never took measures to address that. Started walking to the finance office... saw the yellow SE on the floor... sold. Debadged both of them... purchased the Korean emblems, Tuscani... Elise... and what not. Real head turners. I digress.
The Genesis looks quite grown up. Sophisticated.

I want to buy this one just to replace the tail lights

I'm sure someone likes it, but the tint with the red just doesn't look right to me. ...or at least de-amber the headlights too.

I like the blacked out side markers.
That black works very well with the red.
And, yes, de-amber the fronts.

But the bigger issue here - Is this today's market correct price?

I'd say the price is not incorrect....I passed on a 2003 Box S Tip with105K last spring for $4,800. Ran and drove great and A/C was cold...dirty as heck and at a minimum needed maintenance brought up to date. Just didn't feel like screwing with it at the time. As usual, as soon as it was sold if seconded guessed myself. Part of my passing was that I knew other opportunities would come up.
There's LOTS of them!
