very normal driving, nothing spirited what so ever..really a shame, totally shakes my confidence in the brand which i adore! however let me be fair and say i bought this car from a wholesaler at carmax to drive for a couple of months & resell, i drove it 2500 miles- it appeared to be very well taken care of and had stack of records- so maybe just maybe the previous owner beat the crap out of it- but then why would he have all records, car is almost spotless & IMS done

And sometimes, things just break and we've no idea why. Fluke of nature.

Thats what they all say.
Including the guy that called me today with 9K miles on his car that he bought new and has "kept serviced".
You know how may times a year I hear that?? I've had 50 failure calls logged into my book since the first of the year. ( a few of them were turbos/ Gt3s, 3 were Cayennes and 4 of them are 9a1 engines, the rest were allM96/97) Not a single damn one came from an aircooled Porsche

i'm seriously utterly disgusted, i always thought ok, IMS failure is the issue, and on my 911 i'll do the IMS when the clutch gets changed- Now i get this Boxster that HAD THE IMS DONE ALREADY AT YOUR SHOP and it gets a totally different failure i've never heard of, CAM SHAFT FAILURE...these cars are truly Pieces of garbage- how this could happen i dont even understand- As you know the previous owner of this car had tons of records and did everything to it including the ims...
I'm a Porshaphine & feel totally deceived
