At 1/20th the price of the dealer (including shipping) it's worth a go. I bought 2, I just checked and one is still left.

They look really good, I will of course not discard my OEM ones...in fact I will re-boot and re lube my OEM one to be kept in my garage for future use....but time will tell. However to buy a complete axle for the price of a set of boots is quite a find....I just hope it's not too good to be true.

I know O'reilly and Advance has a complete axle for $99 everyday.

Well at least some of you benefit from it. I was forced to rebuild mine when they sent me the wrong one, 3.2L (boxster S). I tell ya, it's a lot beefier than my 2.7L axle.

I ordered these yesterday, chose the cheapest shipping option, and they are delivered today. So there must be some inverse relationship at work here. Desperately needed parts show up sometime the week after next or later, and parts bought to put on the shelf for later turn up the next morning.

Axle for 2000 Boxster S w/auto

Thanks for the tip on Rock Auto. I was able to get one axle. Unfortunately had to go to ECS Tuning for the other one. How often do the boots on these axles go bad? I purchased this car with under 30k miles on it and have put 15k on it myself.

I second the motion on RockAuto!
My brake wear sensor light came on while I was driving home from work today.
I just purchased online the exact same brake pads (front & rear) from RockAuto that I purchased from them in 2011 when I replaced all the pads & rotors at 133,000 miles.
Today I have over 241,000 miles, so I am quite pleased with the cheap (price wise) parts RockAuto sells.
I've got an extra set of wiper blades in the front trunk that I got for about $6.00 (not including shipping) when RockAuto was selling them dirt cheap last year.

Rock Auto

I have to agree, I have gotten many things from them....great prices on my E36 parts. I ordered two axles from them on close out, w\hen they came in they were for a Tip and I have a 6S....contacted them for a return and selected their shiping and got a label emailed to me for a price I could have never shipped them back for.

Nice folks

I've looked at their site. Geez I must be stupid as I'm not finding them. Is there a way to give me a direct link to them for a 2003 S Tip Boxster. I would truly appreciate it.

Just looked

It looks like they have drooped axles from their catalog

I know I had two that I returned for credit that were for Tip transmission, this was less than a month ago...call them and see if they still have them

Oh thank God. I was feeling really stupid not finding them.

I don't need them, but to have just in case would have been nice.
