Window Fore/Aft Adjustment?

I just noticed that my passenger window sits about 1/4" too far back when fully closed. The driver side is fine. Here are pics.

Passenger side

Driver side

You can see from the pics that the driver window sits almost exactly even with the "point" of the rubber seal. Is there a way to adjust the "fore/aft" of the windows without pulling the door card?

You can adjust the upper limit from the bottom of the door- outer 2 plugs I think. Maybe you can lower it .25" and other alignment will be adequate all around. Possibly 7mm torx or allen- I saw it in the Bentley manual.

I don't think it's an upper limit issue, I thought of that. With the doors open, windows on both sides full closed, the passenger side is about 3/16" laterally aft when looking at the "wing trim", the rubber gasket near the speaker pod. So if I lowered the upper limit, that gap would be even larger...

I found something in my Group 5 manual that mentions a lateral adjustment, but the text in #1 makes no sense to me. Is this to adjust the actual angle of the window in relation to the frame or the fore/aft?

Ok, I can see where the clamps might need adjusting, I can do that. But why or how did they get out of whack in the first place? Gremlins, Trolls? Windows just don't normally move out of place unless something busted right?

I was able to look at the window clamps today, and the window had actually moved a 1/4" aft based on the residual dirt line left behind from the original position. I simply adjusted the clamps and all is well again.

I just don't understand how it could have moved by itself.

Maybe a thief was prying against it?

Lets hope that was it, cause the idea of gremlins, or heaven forbid a thief is not something I want to consider.
