Where is it this year?

Apologize to anyone from IN, but kind of a let down from 2014 Monterey. I've asked around and the only thing it seems F-L has is a great resort and natural spring water (besides being the home town of Larry Bird). I've heard rumors the DE would be at the Corvette track in Bowling Green, KY.

Since this is the 60th Parade, Porsche is holding a contest open to attendees that will give an award to the fav car for ea of the 60 yrs. Not sure I explained that well so here's an example. If I attended, I could enter my CSS in the 2008 category and compete against the other 2008s for the most favorite.

I'm not planning to attend this yr's Parade. 2016 Parade is in Vermont.

At least 2 of us from North Carolina are going. Also doing escape in the black hills.

I really lucked out, only a 150 miles or so. This will be my first Parade. Tempted to sign up for everything. Any tips about what is a must do and what/if should be skipped?

Watch the PCA website. It will have all the events listed with descriptions, so you can decide what you like and don't like. Only you can decide that as there are lots of choices - several running concurrently so you wouldn't be able to do them all. And events run the gamut from autocross to trivia. It is very wise to have your selections decided before you sign up as it takes a good 30 min to sign up even when you know exactly what you want to do. Plus there are some additional costs to some of the events, so you have to factor that in too. I would recommend attending the evening banquets.

Got an email from PCA today. The event I was referring to is called 60 4 60. Here's the link:

Fun Fact: Was looking at places of interest in F-L and saw the population is 1800. There were 1200 attendees at Monterey. Even if there were only 900 this yr, the pop would inc 50%.

We managed to get our registration done yesterday but website was super slow.

I got registered 3/17 but geez what a format. I'm in for the TSD and the Indy Drive on Wed. I'm bringing my 15 year old grandson. The kid appreciates Porsches. He wants a 944.
