First Boxster

Hey All,

Just bought my first boxster s used and was wondering if there is a way to tell what "options" it came with from the factory by using the VIN. The prior owner mentioned upgrading the exhaust and swapping out the black rims for the current set (see pic). Vin on her is WP0CB29893U660210

if you look at the label on the frunk lid and perhaps in the service manual you will see a list of option codes. do a search for decoding that label

also here is the build sheet

You have heated seats, cruise control, PSM and upgraded audio

Take the following URL and modify it so that your VIN is at the end:

Code:
http://admin.porschedealer.com/reports/build_sheets/details.php?vin=WP0CB29893U660210
Note that it might not be in there, mine is not (2000 S) and a couple others I have checked are not, and some are. Unsure of why that is.

I had to look mine up & found this nice summary of option prices for '02s & also has the description of each package code. The Sports Package is not so sporty...

P63 Sport Package: Wind stop, Hi-Fi Sound System, Cruise control, and AM/FM-CD player in dash 662 P64 696 $1,580

When I click on any build sheet or replace the VIN with mine, I just get a blank screen.

Some one sent me my build sheet so I am good now.
