There is not enough actual "winter weather" here through the season to justify the trouble or expense of having snow tires or chains. I choose All Seasons typically.
Two hours later the sun came out and that mess was gone as suddenly as it hit. The million-dollar-per-year broadcast weathermen are beyond useless. They love to play up how awesome they are, but the stations would be better off using monkeys with tarot cards. None of it was predicted until it was nearly on top of us.
And yes, I did pick a safe area to test the limits of the car. It drifted easily, but was just as easy to bring under control... I assume for the same reasons it's easy to control on dry pavement.
