It's been in the 40s and the snow is trying to melt

; bad for the skiing, especially after we had 18" on the ground 2 weeks ago! But the good news is the roads have been dry and I've been driving the Boxster all around. Glad I decided on all season tires instead of snow tires. They work fine in cold/wet/thin snow conditions. When it's really bad I drive the truck, or the BMW 325 xi with Blizzaks. Even if I feel I can handle the conditions on the all season tires (Michelin A/S 3), I don't trust some of the other bozos out there. Twice I've had idiots slide off the street and hit my truck parked in my front yard 10' from the pavement!
Tried my new CTEK battery charger. I reconditioned (desulfate) 5 batteries, including the Exide Edge AGM in the Boxster, and it works great ! The only problem is that the "comfort connect" cable that stays on the battery is too short to go over to the edge of the battery cover and up out of the hood. I have to open the hood and remove the battery cover to hook it up. I think I'll call them and see if they have a longer one. I guess I could extend it but I hate to jury rig electrical stuff.
