Definitely an exhaust related issue...tapped around on the exhaust pipes with engine running and could induce the rattle or make it stop.

Found the culprit. Right side, heat shield near the Catalytic Converter...I think. The heat shield is no longer attached and just spins freely on the pipe.

I would try a bead of JB Weld epoxy.

Have the same issue and have been whacking the heat shield for a couple years already.
Just drive the heat shield to the back of the car by hitting it with a mallet. OR replace the secondary cats with test pipes. |
gonna have a buddy of mine tac-weld it. Although I did not think of JB weld, may try that first.
