Personally, I like the look of the big ==Porsche== running all along the bottom - but as you are going for something more subtle, I like the look of it at the back. It fits nicely in the panel after the door, whereas on the door itself it get's lost. It looks like an add on vs. something that looks more 'in it's place' behind the door below the vent. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I bet you could find a local printer to make those for less than half the dealer's cost.

If you could find the right font. I have been toying with trying to buy an old speedo dial so I could scan it at a high DPI so I could make some "Boxster font" numbers in cut vinyl for track days.

I have seen some folks that have done a good job with the font; there is a car that says "Boxzilla" in a very nice boxster like font that I saw at Sebring. He is on this forum as well.

There are a lot of places that have the original style PORSCHE font but I have never found the new "cursive look" font.
