does everyone have this?

I have a strip of plastic (similar to clear bra) running along the side skirt..... but now it's getting old... it's got a brown tinge to it.... any idea how to clean?

Easier to install blue or purple LED strips down both sides underneath to light up the ground below. That will draw attention away.

Both of my previous cars have had this, pretty sure it's standard, neither of my cars have been so dirty their though.

I do have the strip, but not the discoloration. At least not noticeable on Arctic Silver.

Rocker panel film

Bill used a dish washing detergent (dawn).then
Mothers mag and aluminum polish. Followed by
A good coat of Carbonite polish.

How this helps,

Jinx
Included a pic it's the best one we

Aren't those strips meant to peel off when they get messed up?

Seems like there are several options:

New clear protection strip.

New colored vinyl car wrap in that area, perhaps a contrasting color or chrome etc to match your wheels or brake calipers.

New aero kit rocker panels and forget the protection stuff.

I have that too but no discoloration noticeable on the seal gray as far as I can tell at least. I assumed that was an option the PO added or it could have been standard for that section of the car. 2001 Base.
