definitely an improvement.

Wheels are very important on Porsches. A simple $1K-$3K upgrade can make the car look 3x's what you paid for it, and if its a quality lighter wheel you'll easily sell it for good money in addition to improving the car's performance and putting less stress on the car.
I never understand why people want to dump the same money into upgrading the power/exhaust when those are very limited returns that just make a lot of racket.

I agree with you. (Center caps have since been replaced with black Porsche caps)
