Looking for an Independent Mechanic in Indy - Not a Dealer

Just bought my Box a couple months ago and am looking for an independent mechanic in the Indianapolis, IN area. It appears I have an oil leak and I’m worried about the IMS issue. Only have 31k miles, but from what I’ve read that doesn’t matter. Anyone know of a good reliable mechanic in my area that specializes in Porsche's?? I really don’t want to go to the dealer!

Check with these guys. A good resource for separating the wheat from the chaff.

You can also try here:

http://www.pcarshops.com/

If you find a shop you like then you could try searching on it in the various forums to see if folks have any experience with it.

Thanks so much. I have researched both links and I think I've found a few good mechanics.

Just south of Greenwood is a shop named Autobahn. They work on various foreign cars but specialize in Porsches. The owner drives a beautiful red '04 Boxster. I trust both my Box and 911 with them.
