Because it is designed to go on your Porsche. The cheap aftermarket axles are adapted to fit anything. They are heavier than the oem gun-drilled axles.
Buy used axles with the understanding you can return them if the joints are bad. If the boots are not in great condition replace before installing.

Ok

Now I don't work for Advance, in fact I am currently unemployed seeking gainful employment. I guess you got a bad pair from wherever to describe them the way you did....I had advance order a pair and they were rebuilt OEM Porsche ????

I did not buy them, a buddy of mine works there and he ordered a set just so I could look at them. I would not hesitate to use them. I used a rebuilt axle from Advance on my BMW E36 3 years ago and it was and is fine and also rebuilt OEM...also a C Note in price.

Can an axle for a Tip be adapted to fit a 6 speed manual ?
