Not true. I used a U-Haul trailer to haul my Boxster from Boise ID to Jackson, WY and it worked fine. The only thing I did was put some 2x6s under the front tires so the front bumper cover would clear the front wheel stops. I have ROW MO30 suspension and had no trouble getting on or off. But if you can find a low spot for the trailer wheels to rest in, it does decrease the ramp angle.
