I have already done it, and its a lot of fun and makes a better driver out of anyone, you'll love it. To get the most out of it, don't be shy and talk to everyone.
You'll likely make some new friends as well.

It might hook you on Auto-X ing too.

Did you do prepare your car for the event?

It needs to be empty of all junk that could fly around the inside of the car, Trunk and Frunk.

Just bring a chair, hat, suntan lotion, light jacket and some snacks.

The car will be checked for decent brake pad remaining, tire tread depth, secured battery, brake fluid level, etc and that the car is empty.

I travel the country visiting a huge number of regions for AutoX and Club races.

San Diego region has (by far) the best driving school I have **ever** seen outside of a Bondurant type school.

No BS. Well organized, well ran, great instructors!!

I plan to be there Sunday for a little "right seat" time with some unsuspecting student. It should be a gas. This PDS is probably the best bang for your performance-driving buck anywhere.

I am looking very forward to the PDS. I didn't make the last one as I bought my Boxster in mid March

Tires, brakes, etc checked and good to go!

Looks like there will be only 2 9686 S there, a 2003 and my Silver 04

See ya next weekend

ASK for him. Just ASK. He doesn't want to instruct anyone in an early 912 anyway!! LOL Might be hard to pry him away from a CGT or a new PDK 991TT

Gee Brad, you are too kind. Now you are making me blush.

I'll look for you out there Jay. I'll be the guy in the red PCA instructor shirt.

Thanks for sharing. Really cool to see such a variety of Porsche's, from young to old. They do an event in Canada as well - only they hold it in April. Glad to see you can enter in a non-porsche (many of us Canadians don't have our cars out yet in April).

the only way to describe the weekend is
TOO MUCH FUN!!!

The only problem is that I am now on that slippery slope........

I think my performance had a lot to do with my instructor
of course native talent and a great car doesn't hurt

All seriousness aside, it was an incredibly great 2 1/2 days. I learned more that I imagined about my car, its capabilities and driving it as well as made a bunch of new friends.

Anyone that has the opportunity to take the class is a fool if they don't. It is an incredible experience and most of all makes you a better and safer driver.

Now I just hope my tires hold out to the next AX until I have time to get an extra set of wheels and tires.

See ya soon and we will see if the student can smoke the teacher

Nice to see my teammate David Tung out there in the HRG #956 Boxster! That young man just keeps getting faster and faster - and now I know why!

Yea, a whole lot of different P-cars from old 911's to straight off the lot new ones. even some 944's, 968's and an incredibly fun to ride in 928.

At the end of the day we got to ride in almost all of them, some in full race trim. what a blast!

Took me almost two years to even get close to Topless. Plan on a lot of track days. Good luck.

David Tung looked good, very good. His car was clearly well set-up and his lines were crisp and concise. We were doing a corner critique on the toughest off-camber/decreasing radius corner combination and even Jae Lee complimented his driving. Watch your mirrors Tom cause he is coming.

Lucky for me David is running one class up in POC GT-6 rather than BSR/SPB because his engine is slightly bigger than 2.5L.
