27 mpg? I don't know how so of you guys do it. I stay pretty on top of my tire pressure, oil changes, air filter, etc. and I'm high teens at best.

Same here. I typically get between 17.5 and 19mpg in mixed driving.

7,688 miles in 8 days. From N. Georgia to Edmonton AB, Canada and back... 3.8L Generation 5, Stage II, Track Performer making 340 RWHP.

Average 23 MPG, peak 28 MPG. Most of the time we were traveling well above normal speeds. The average MPG for the trip fell off a lot; because we chose to take a 107 mile long dirt road in Montana to put the IMS Solution through pure off road hell, to prove that robustness of it's oil feed hose.

All to get a single oil sample....
