SoCal Porsche Meet!

I've only been active on the forum for a few days and have met a lot of interesting people and have seen some beautiful Porsches. If anyone is interested in setting up a meet so we can have a little "show and tell" post a time that would fit your schedule and we can all agree on a time and place to meet. See you soon!

Good timing! We are having a nice little Porsche meet at AAA Speedway April 4,5,6. Come check it out and kick some tires. It's free.

There will be free beer and spirits to any 986 Forum members at the Boxster Bros rig for all those 21 and older on Friday April 5th. The festivities will begin at 5pm track cold. Some BBQ may be involved as well. Come out and say hello!

The rig looks something like this:

Yes Brad, of course you are invited. Even 997 C4S drivers are welcome if they come down from NorCal for the event.

I think I'll come on Saturday. Should we park in the Porsche Corral?

Sounds like its in the Infield.

Do you need to bring any form to get into the infield/corral?

I'll bring my uninstalled Nine8Six Custom Mini Morrimoto Projectors with custom bezel in case anyone wants to see them in person before getting their own.

General parking is just before the Porsche Corral, there will be signs/parking attendants. You'll have to sign a waiver to enter. I'll be with the HRG team (look for the pop up canopies) in the back paddock (north of the NASCAR garages). See you there!

The TT compound is right by tech inspection in the north lot. Look for the grey rig with Boxsters and Caymans parked all around it. Beer and BBQ 5-7pm. Blues music review 7-9pm.

I imagine Saturday is a big Porsche day at the Cali festival of speed in fontana, so hopefully we see a few more forum folks out to socialize. I washed the car today so it would be decent for parking in the Porsche corral. I also finally installed my short shifter kit that I had on the shelf for a year.

Just the projector headlight upgrade and I all caught up.

I'll come visit you guys tommorow.
