I like it too but my lens has been ruined by the solvent that I used to clean off the sealant that was holding the lens to the casing. It removed some of the original silver edging and damaged the lens plastic inside. That's why I had to go wider on the silver edging. If I had a good lens I think Id like it. If anyone has a Hlamp with a good original lens or one with good silver trim that needs the outside restored let me know. I don't care if it works or not. All I need is the lens.

I think this mod looks really GREAT on black and darker colors, OK on red. Oh and I'm sure someone knows, are all casing, lens the same? I see cheap new Hlights on Ebay and I wonder if they would work on mine with Xenon light pkg?
Thanks

Yes, they are all the same (other than indicator color).

Solvent?
Just use a razor to trim off 90% of the old sealant. No need to get it all off.

Thanks for the quick reply. So basically I can find any clear headlamp remove the lens and fix mine.
I'm also wondering are the headlight cases all the same. By that I mean same case but with the holes blocked off for options the car doesn't have?
I have that xenon pkg with the auto leveling when you start the car. Could I switch my stuff to this headlamp? Thanks again.

Yes, the cases and main lenses are all the same. The only difference for the Litronics (other than internals) is the rear cover. The halogen cases even have the Litronic's igniter mounts.

Everything will have to be removed from the front. The reflector assembly will come out as one unit and is secured by 3 mount points. The 2 adjustable mount points can be undone by removing a screw in each, but the 3rd will require separating a ball and socket joint.

The 2 adjustable mount assemblies will need to be swapped over.
You'll also need to remove all the pins from the electrical connector or do a lot of splicing.

It's a big job.

One more question. Will it work as is until I can figure out how to switch the internals? I dont want to mess this up.

If I install it in will It work?

Do you mean using one halogen and one xenon? I don't see why it wouldn't work.
