I own a screaming rag top

Depending on headwind from circa 85-95 MPH my rag top sounds like it's screaming just on the passenger side of the center latch. I figured wind was getting past the seal and causing a whistle sound, so I used einszett 'Gummi Pflege Stift' Rubber Care Stick on the weather seals but that didn't seem to do the trick.

Any ideas on this, can the tension be adjusted on the center locking latch? Both sides are locking into position as designed - there are no other problems with the roof besides this. Thanks.

Scott

Mine squeaks like rubbing balloons together as I drive. Very annoying. Same spot.

Have you treated the rubber seal that sits against the clamshell? Mine was squeaking there for a while until I applied Vinylex.

Yeah, in the OP I mentioned using Gummi Pflege Stift which is designed specifically for the rubber weather seals - many users have reported the seals puff up and expand back to their original size after using the product. I didn't see any change myself, the seals appear to be in excellent condition already.

Any other thoughts? I looked into the center latch but didn't see any tension adjustments.
