Your top speed?
What's your top speed in the Box, then in any other car?
148 in Box, Mojave desert. I swear I heard it sigh as I let off, too chicken to get 150.
The ranger and pinto are not worth recalling.

My 119 feels slow compared to some of these and it was on the track. I have accidentally hit 90 going up onramps before, especially the long ones. Then I look down... Yikes! Don't want to get a ticket. But it feels so smooth...

I overdo on-ramps occasionally and have done 104 once when the car was still new to me, but now I have the top speed beep set to go off at 90 so I dont get into more trouble than I can handle.
Besides I'm more into the twisty kind of driving fun, although its always tempting to go faster since it just takes off so nicely and just keeps on accelerating with that securely planted handling.

Well, it wasn't in the Boxster, but I hit 170 MPH on the straight at Miller Motorsports Park (only 3,000' long) on my 2005 MV Agusta F4 1000S motorcycle. The world goes by very quickly at 170 MPH on a motorcycle, especially when you need to slow down for the next corner ! At least I didn't need to worry about getting a ticket .

185 Mph as a passenger in a 993 twin turbo GT3 on autobahn heading in to Bitburg, same day 140 Mph in 944, driving back to Ramstein while owner slept in passenger seat.
My Boxster S only been 125 MPH for short burst, and my turbo 2008 Mondeo 135 MPH.
Almost got to go to Nurnburg Ring with my friend in his 993, but I got to cold had to head home. He now has a 997 Turbo, oversized turbo, and front drive removed, full carbon fiber pakage.

I'm a paltry 123mph, on the other hand I haven't had a moving violation in 25 years.

Don't trust all those speedometers guys. My speedometer says 140 down the backstretch at Road Atlanta, but Aim GPS says only 130.

I have stock tires and rims that match the documentation on the car, however probably some variances in speedo readings and then add in the BS factor adds at 15 MPH
So divide speedo reading by the BS factor you now have a ball park estimate of your fastest speed!

That's why there is a button to raise it, makes you look fast!

127.7 mph GPS, entering Turn 2 Auto Club Speedway Roval. Car was just as calm and planted as could be.
