'Caan' as in James is how the press officers in the UK are pronouncing it. Pretty sure that's how it's meant to be.

Apparently, it's Malay for tiger...near as I can tell, correct pronunciation would be Ma-chan (ma, as in "ma and pa", and chan, as in "check" and "on".
