cleaned my radiators
I finally bit the bullet and cleaned the radiators. Glad I did it. Dead bird on the front side and lots of trash built up in between.

did you pull the front bumper cover? Was it a hard job? Doesn't look to complicated in the write ups, and I will do this job soon.

You have to remove the front bumper. It's not hard, but it does take a few hours. I did this when I added LED DRL's and an air horn. Never found anything as interesting as a bird though!

I took my time. Probably took 2 hours for the entire job. Took about 30 minutes to remove the bumper. Hardest part was the behind the fender liner. I watch a 5 minute video on youtube. that REALLY helped.

Radiator cleaning
Another alternative to removing the front bumper assembly is to buy some dishwasher hose or other flexible hose. Get about three feet and make sure it is sufficiently sturdy that a vacuum cleaner won't collapse it. I attached the dishwasher hose to a shop vac and push through the air slats on the front bumper. You may want to put a little painters tape on the bumper so it won't scratch the paint. You can then maneuver the hose around and get a lot of accumulated leaves, etc from the radiator. This is not as thorough as removing the bumper, but it is quick and easy.

Good tip but if you or a shop haven't removed the bumper in a while, go through the whole procedure and separate the radiators. You will be amazed whats in there.

I don't know if it is just me, or if others have this happen to them.
After cleaning out the radiators, do you cringe when you see leaves swirling on the road in front of you? You just know that they are going to get sucked into the grill and clog up the radiators again.

That's why I did it today before I put on my new grill guards.

Frustration= Putting the very last bolt in as you reinstall your front bumper back on with the new grill guards and you realize you forgot to put the temp sensor back through the holder.
AAGGGHHHHHH!!!
