Tires for 2009 Porsche Boxster
I have had my 2009 Boxster for a year now. I need to replace the tires. I am looking for recommendations. Your help is greatly appreciated.

How do you use your Boxster - weekend driver, daily driver, DEs, etc?
How many miles do you drive / yr?

What is your budget?
Do you want max grip, max tire life, best wet performance, or an all-around good performing tire?

How did the tires you had perform? What did you like/dislike about them?

That is what I use. I know there are better tires out there but I just have no reasons/cons to switch. I'm a street driver only. Now if I tracked that would allow me to see a different side

All round best tires are Michelin's IMO. I've had lots of tires and the Michelin's are had to beat. They are usually the most expensive. guess you get what you pay for is true.

+1. I agree with Jim: all round. I've found that tires which are NOT all round are less comfortable and wear faster. But they're definitely cheaper. And they're usually fine if it's just sitting in the driveway.

Over the last 25 years I have bought nothing but Michelin tires.

You need to give us more background is what everyone is saying.
Tire design is a compromise of cost, wear, heat resistance, rain performance, dry performance, snow performance, ice performance, summer, winter, etc...
So we see you are from TX but that is a big state. Tell us what the weather is like. Tell us what you are going to use the car for. How hard you drive. How long you'll keep the car. How budget sensitive you are.
My choice may well not be the best one for your circumstances.

Guys, let's wait with suggestions until OP gives us more info.
Will serve 2 purposes:
1. Wasting our time if he / she has specific needs.
2. Make sure the person is real. I think some people come on just to throw out a generic topic to see how many responses they get or to start an internet fight.
We've asked nicely for more info, let's see if we get it before throwing more suggestions out there.
