In my two weeks of Porsche ownership I have had everything but a mustang try to mess around. Just waiting for them to. I just laugh and drive on.

OK I'll take truth over dare. I started working for Saleen in 1993 & wanted to build my own. Bought a new 1994 GT & started converting it & accumulating 351ci engine parts. Left Saleen in 1996 when the company moved to OC & I moved to Manhattan Beach. I was following the upcoming Boxster debut but lost interest when it debuted with only 201HP. Finally test drove a "S" in 2000 & I was hooked!

I usually get the honda crowd when i am in my boxster but in the 996 i get those subaru WRX's . Even driving in the slow lane , top down and my wife in the car . clowns ! I never have a problem with muscle car guys , they are usually older and forget the corvette crowd they are really old .

The best one for me was on my way to an autocross event with numbers already on the doors and and a Honda pulled up next to me at a light and vroom, vroomed a couple of times. I took off from the light like it was a Sunday drive (which it was) and he floored it and kept on going until he was out of sight. Guess who was pulled over getting a ticket about a mile up the road?
