I've skied 6 times in the last 7 days within a 15 minute drive (in the Boxster of course ) of my house! And in the summer I have hiking, climbing, motorcycle riding, mountain and road biking, fishing, kayaking, rafting, sailing, and of course great twisty traffic-free Boxster roads within 5 minutes of my front door. And no, it's not -20° F here all winter . So please let us brag about how hardy we think we are when it gets cold without feeling too sorry for us.

P.S. I'd insert a picture of Boxy in my snowy driveway but I didn't take one yet.
Just keep telling yourself that

When I lived in California I could surf in the morning, drive for an hour and a half or so to go skiing that night. Had mountains to go 4wheling in, desert to ride dirt bikes. Could SEE all of the seasons without actually having to live in them.

But I think there is a reason that FLorida has all of those "snow birds". If I never have to shovel a drive, I will be OK
