Truthfully, this began as a serious thread. But, 90k for a new boxster just doesn't make sense.

Maybe I'm stating the obvious, but you could always wait 2-3 years and buy a low mileage CPO 981 from a dealer with the Dangermobile as a trade in. Or sell it privately. You'd have that much time to get the price you want and I don't think the value of your 986 will depreciate at all.

To scratch your spending itch, you could always pave the road leading to your house, and get out and drive your Boxster.

Just sayin'..............

Good advice - except for the road. Unless someone on the forum wants to take up a collection, a two mile stretch into the forest with 750 feet of elevation gain just isn't possible.
