Lets face it, you have personalized your 986 S to the point where is is not only reflective of your individual tastes, it is virtually a one-of-a-kind. You have already acknowledged that you will take a bath if you sell it right now. While that is undoubtedly correct, I have little doubt that the car's value has already reached its nadir and that over time, the supply of very low-mileage, well-maintained 2000 Boxster S's are going to drop dramatically. It is the first year of the S and with a dual-row bearing, probably the best of the 986's. Period. I think there is every reason to believe that prices will start to go up - expecially for an immaculate, tastefully upgraded example such as yours.

Hey Brad have you seen the price of 944T's lately? And the only thing special about jd's car is the 'I can't drive' low mileage. A body kit, wheels, exhaust and coilovers isn't exactly 'custom' these days.
