well .. found out what the sound was ... (sorta)...

today as I was driving the box ... the engine belt broke (I think thats what it was). The moment it broke .. the engine was purring like a kitten as if it was brand new!

so had it towed to my frds shop. its closed today, so will check it out tomorrow with him.

basically what happened .... was driving along .. sound got a bit louder ....

then the sound went away! ..... the battery light came on ... and my AC wasnt cold anymore. Then 5 secs later .... the temp shot up to the top.

the only thing that I believe can cause these 3 conditions at the same time (alternator, AC compressor and water pump) is the engine belt or drive belt or serpentine belt.. whatever u guys choose to call it. cos its the only belt that links all 3 things.

hopefully ... things are ok and the overheat condition wasnt serious.

update u guys later!
