Anybuddy have one of these? Thanks in advance.

I just went through the same research. I opted for the Valentine 1 for many reasons. My personal opinion is that the bells & whistle's with the GPS and Live technology is a lot of marketing and stretch. Conservatively, I believe that Escort is 5+ years away from making the reliability solid. For the record, I am an original Escort person, Passport, etc. The V1 is the best investment. Then put some laser jammers in the front spoiler and your set. These are legal in NJ and most states. A guy in Tampa has the best product. Hope this helps.

If you do a lot of highway driving I would look at the Escort Redline. It has been proven to have better range and sensitivity than the V-1.

I've been using the Redline in conjunction with the "Live" phone app. and have been very satisfied with with it's performance. No tickets over the past 2 years.

The phone app is useful in that it will show the speed limit of most major roadways and then alert you when you've exceeded the speed limit. Useful when you are on a road where the speed limits change frequently.

More than that - If another driver with the "Live" app has passed through an area and detected radar, and you approach that same area within an hour of the original detection the "Live" app will notify you of the potential trap.

It has many other useful features. I highly recommend the redline and phone app.

Is the Redline more sensitive than the new MAX? Still haven't found out if the MAX, without being tied into the phone etc., shows your current speed.

Personal note

All my wife's family reside in Greer. We are thinking of moving down that way one of these days. Greenville has a Porsche dealer and the town is very nice with its sidewalk cafes, galleries etc. If we ever do move I will have to look you up.
