At the present market value it's at the possible position, upgrades have been completed, low mileage has elminated the major maintenance budgeting, no further plunking down of cash is need to pay it off or to get into something newer (not necesarrily better on 'dollar basis') and its still the car that sets the bar in its class. Personally I'd hold onto it until the 981S has fallen substantially.
Or if you want a car that's going to sit in your garage on any day but a sunny one, then I'd jump on a 964 , RS if you can swing it. The rarer the car the better it will do as its sits. The Porsches that came after are not quiet as sharp/tight like a 3.2 on PSS9's, and the cars that came before are antiques, which is fine but I'd rather be in at least the modern category.
Excellent point !
