took out the front nose, radiator, headlights, hood crumpled, directional indicators, fender and fluids a plenty. will be looking for a reputable body shop in the morning

I hit a large groundhog this summer. Smashed the bumper and took out a radiator. Took it to Sam's auto body in Clay NY. Syracuse area. The car came back looking better then before i smashed it. Good luck.

Glad you are OK. Deer can be a serious hazard and have ruined more than one car or motorcycle that I have heard about.

that's a victory for the deer? I don't think there's any fixing her.

sorry for your incident but machines are fixable/replaceable the important thing is that you are okay.

I was in my Boxster coming home from airport around midnight after a business trip. We have a very big toll road (6 lanes with not much traffic at all) and an 80mph speed limit (being bumped to 85mph). I was going the speed limit (~80mph) and a deer ran in front of my car and barely missed him. I was being thankful all the way home after seeing my dad hit one in his full size chevy truck at 35 mph which nearly totaled his truck.

Upside is that you are unharmed. After 3-4 years of physical therapy for myself or going to friend's funerals, that is always the more important thing. Cars can be replaced.

Cheers,

bella 986 will live

state farm appears to be stepping up to the plate
drivers village was recommended by a few Porsche associates for quality body work
color and orange peel matching top of my list to watch
deer hit top of windscreen, appears to have tweaked the angle of the windscreen frame by a degree or two, will pay attention to their repair detail
will upload photos soon
banished to driving my mint hellfire red Z3 until my 986 returns
** side note, did not realize the Z flexed so much in the corners after driving the 986, go figure!!!!

Did it happen on Johnny Dangers road to his house. I hear the wildlife runs rampant there. Sorry for your loss.
