What do you do with old wheels

To those of you with aftermarket wheels, what do you do with your stock wheels? I have them in storage and thought it would be beneficial to keep all the stock parts with the car. However, an Indy doing work on my car inquired if I still had them and wants to trade labor for wheels. Now I am thinking about getting rid of them. They are just taking up space after all.

They used to be worth $omething but now the price for a nice set is in the $500 range...
I'd say get rid of them

Garage
Mine are my winter wheels. If I didn't need 2 sets, I'd unload them...

just me but...

I would keep them just in case you damage one of your aftermarket wheels and you need to get back on the road soon...

Also, IMHO you won't get much for them

If you Track the car then having the 17's for Track Tires is a good idea, or winter tires if you don't race.

Tires for the 17's are usually cheaper too.

I own four sets right now. Will be selling the 18" Boxster wheels to free up space for another set of 17" track wheels.

I don't track and I don't drive this car in the snow (or rain if I can help it) - to the Indy the wheels go.

I had to buy the parts but the Indy wants to trade the wheels for labor. I think I am the one coming out on top. He is changing the water pump, thermostat, flushing the coolant system, changing belt, and replacing the AOS.

If I were to install aftermarket wheels, I would keep the OEM ones. If I am (& I did) installing another OEM wheel, then I would sell the other OEM ones.
