LCL ocean shipping would be the most cost effective. Figure another $450.00 to $650.00 for freight, terminal fees, and delivery.

And don't forget, the hardtop will have to be crated at the shipping point, from fumigated or heat treated wood. Don't know what they charge in France, but here it'd be another $250.00.

Estimated total $4500.00 - $4700.00. (Your results may vary.)

Just keepin' it real................

Yes cost is a problem, and getting it approved by ones boss (the wife) is the biggest obstacle, but I am looking to bring one in.

and paint - another $1000 probably.

see what kind of interest you get; a group buy might reduce some of the overhead costs (and perhaps purchase cost).

The 3500 includes paint? It is expensive but man it looks good. I leave my stock HT on most of the year and it doesn't really look that good. The ZeinTop guy that's back in business in Canada, are his prices also in the 4k range without paint?

Never understood hardtops. Why not buy a Cayman?

I rather like my OEM Porsche hardtop. $1500 total cost. Crono0001, the reasons not to buy a Cayman seem pretty obvious:
1. I already have a Boxster and love it.
2. You can remove the Boxster hardtop in summer in 2 minutes and you have a convertible.

I like it too, but its too pricy at $3500 maybe at $4500 its just too expensive. I would like this in carbon fiber and if it was made to replace the clamshell and fit better into the body. If I bought this I would just remove the soft top and go all out coupe. I have kept my hard top one for over two years. I took it off for about three days this year. It was nice but I like the coupe a lot better.

Can't help, but here is a picture
