Hi Lboxster

I'm guessing the nice summer we've just had has put this problem on the shelf!

When the inevitable rains arrive, run your hand along the bottom of the door carpets: it they are wet, then the water is likely getting in via the door. In my case it was caused by a door window being misaligned on its support rail. Water was leaking in through a gap between the glass and the roof seal.

If the door carpets are dry, you've narrowed it down a bit. However there are still many potential candidates for the cause of the leak. Looking at the rear of the car for instance, the hood drainage is internally routed to a large pan on both sides and then funnels water down a tube to the underside of the car. Breaks, tears or blockages in this system will cause water to find its way into the cabin.

Good luck!
