Thank you Steve, just the info I was looking for. My car just hit 36k miles, so I will get a new MAF sensor and see what happens. Maybe change the O2 sensors later as these are all fairly easy to do myself.

How can I tell which MAF sensor I have? I have a 2000 so it could be either...

Remove the mass air flow sensor. If it is original, the Porsche part number is printed on it.

The link Steve provided in Post #2 also has instructions. Very easy to do but you do require the T-20 tamperproof bit
