Scissor Lift

So, after I had a air cooled 911 slip while jacking, I went ahead and ordered a Harbor Freight scissor lift. With discounts and tax and delivery it's costing about $1300.00 delivered. it's about two weeks out, will keep you all updated.

Glad to hear you weren't seriously injured when the 911 slipped. How bad was the damage to the car? I remember a couple of months back about scissor lift discussions.

I got mine from Harbor Freight too. Love it! Had to get 220V installed for it.

LOVE my harbor freight scissor lift. I have the same one as drbodzin and also made the same ramps as in his picture.

The first time I used it, I actually found myself whistling and having a really good time wrenching on my p-car. After I got done doing the oil/filter change, spark plugs, spark plug tubes, not only did I not have to use any hand cleaner, but I realized that I didn't blert out any blue words, that's a first for me!

It is easily the best tool I have ever purchased and it is a bargain. I was able to get mine for $1150 or so with the 20% off coupon in addition to a small sale price. My only regret is that I didn't buy one years ago when they were $699.

Also, get one of the bench seats on wheels HF has, they go hand-in-hand with the lift.
