I was having a very similar moment a couple days ago when my yellow box s was having its IMS done. Phew. Now that its over and the lil speed box pulled though, its now time for some pure fun free from the worries of the all too common and dreaded IMS catastrophe

The mechanic at the independent porsche specialist workshop said the bearing seemed to be just fine and in good condition but said regardless, it was still one of the best decisions in terms of upgrades and prevention sicne as we all know it can just give way without warning. This mob has done plenty of them which put my mind at ease. The whole procedure went extremely smoothly without a hiccup and strangely, the car revs so much better for some reason. Maybe got to do with the Mobil 1 engine oil they used to top it back up compared to the oil the last workshop used for the service? Eitherway, I'm damn happy
