Thumbs up 2 tone Recaro style seat

Installed the passenger side Recaro style (replica) 2 tone seat with Planted seat bracket, will install the driver side soon. It fits just perfect and feels firmer than stock, quality is fine. I also ironed the Porsche crest patch to the headrest. Everything bought from eBay.

1) 2 Seats = $350; eBay item # 170844636801
2) 2 Planted seat brackets = $280; eBay item # 390479353649 & 300791258389
3) 4 Porsche patch = $16 (you only need 2); eBay item # 121075913729

Other seller sells the same seats but all black for like $300 (shipped).

Some more shots of them before installation.

That's cheap for some bucket seats! How's quality? My seat is all ripped up, I may pull the trigger on just one.

Thanks guys on the "library" wallpaper, it was my first wallpaper job which my wife picked it out. Back to the seats, the patch is very easy to apply, just place a damp towel over them then iron it on.

As far as the quality of these seats, it's no OEM but you definitely get your money worth. If I didn't tell you the price you would probably guess each seat cost $500+.

Here are more pictures following the installation today.

I found the patch on eBay, that item says "4 PCS". For the $15.99 do I get 4 and select "quantity 1", or do I select "quantity 2"? If I select "quantity 2" will I get 8 patches?

I'm afraid the closest one is black/orange, but I've only seen blk/blk, blk/white and blk/red on eBay.

Patches are on order, now what to do with the two extra? I guess one will go on the back of my Member's Only jacket.

Some people also use them on baseball cap or even floor mats.

Floor mats might be too many emblems in the car.

They probably weight a little lighter than stock but those Planted seat brackets are heavy duty stuff. No heater or power adjustments, only manual sliding and reclining. These seats are made with PVC leather (leatherette), easy maintenance.

can you slide the seat back and have the headrest fit under the roll bar? I need my seat back more than what is in the picture.

Really good look, and seems like a great mod for the money.
