It's half the reason to park far away from everything, so the journey back is long enough for deep contemplation and joy. You also get at least one shameless glance back while you lock the doors. Do this at maximim range, so there is a good chance you get to walk back towards the car. I may be new to Porsches, but not the art of strategic gawking.

I always keep the door to the garage from the kitchen open so every time I get a drink from the fridge, I get to ogle at my yellow beauty for a few seconds. Sometimes when I really can't help myself, I switch the garage light on and stand there, then caress the paintwork for a few seconds, take a deep breath, smile and then walk away with a grin knowing it belongs to me.

What a relief to find out it isn't just me! Huge smile every time I look in the garage. My wife is starting to get a little irked by it.
