Techart Style Side Intakes Yea or Nay ?

Ok, so the turbo style side air intakes got mixed responses. So, what about the Techart style ?

Sorry JD...but I agree. Worse than the turbo. But, as has been said many, many times before, it's all about your own personal preference. Personally, I have never seen any aftermarket intake that I like better than the stock, but that's just me.

That ^^ looks more like an exhaust than an intake!

I'd post up an opinion, but I had a side stripe on my Boxster (and I liked it) so my style sense is clearly questionable ...

I don't see any reason to change the stock ones. I kind of like Boxster design features!

Techart OK. I prefer the Turbo.

Can you photoshop them onto the Danger-mobile?

That looks better and you can't go wrong for $50, my favorite are the 03+ vents that are painted body color.

Nay, go with the turbo...they will further confuse people as to what you are driving.

I agree^, but of course I like the turbo style.
It mimics a Porsche design and looks great in person.

If you don't want to look like tom, dick, and harry, I would do the Turbo style with black grille backing.
Will look good on your car!

Best

no matter what style you go with they are all inserts, and look as such. they all have that modular plastic look, which is awesome... for a 95 civic

best upgrade for the intake imho, is to modify stock ones, to remove the fins, and add stainless mesh behind it, livens it up, subtle, and actually has a function

hey that's a good idea CCSTUD17, thanks! Adding stainless is adding class!!!
Of all pictured I like the second one-
JD , have you considered adding red neon behind the grills? A man in your position needs to be a trend leader, after all!

I tried that look, decided that the oem with grille backing looked best in the end!
