engine blower fan not kicking

problem started last week when temp. red light blinking, coolant leaked, so i checked the water pump and there's some coolant stain underneath and it grinding noise, so just replaced a new water pump and thermostat. now when on idle noticed engine blower fan doesn't comes on at about 186 deg. ? but the two front blower fans comes on after a while. any tips on to how to check this engine blower fan???

the engine blower fan does not have to do with the engine operating temperature.
it will be activated by the temperature in the engine compartment (big difference).
2 ways to test it:
1. the easy way. use durametric, and activate fan.
2. after a long ride (when the engine is at is pick temp), let it idle for 5-10 min (inside a garage if possible).
the fan should kick in.

beside the fan issue.
if your engine is overheating after pump+stat replacement, i recommend repeating the bleeding process.
