Nope. It's there on the early models too. I think it goes all the way to the 97, but can't say for sure. Mines a 99 and has it, but it is for deployment only (up) so far as I know. I don't think you can use it to close a deployed spoiler above 75 Mph. To disable it requires additional work. Maybe a PST2 or Durameteris to turn it off without a fault code.

I just push it again and it goes down. But if I'm going above 75, I don't want it to go down right that minute . . .
