Greetings From New Zealand

Hi everyone
I'm new to this forum. Had my 2004 Boxster S for a month. What a great car! Really enjoying the driving experience. Its done 108,000 kms. FSH 2 previous owners & still has warranty. Planning to do most of my own maintenance and have service kit from Pelican Parts. Just taken delivery of IMS Guardian and plan to fit soon and do UOA on Mobil 1 thats been used at each oil change from new. I'll probably change to Fuchs Supersyn and change twice per year...thats about 4000kms or 2500mls and be guided by UOA.

Welcome to the forum. I have had the ims guardian installed about a year ago in my 2001 Box base. Enjoy your "new" Boxster.
Cheers

Welcome Phil! I have a neighbor from New Zealand so I speak it a little. Do you see many Boxsters there?

Hi, theres a good Porsche community in Auckland where I live. More 911s than Boxsters but all P cars are expensive here, like x2 USA price, so numbers are limited. This is my 2nd P car, previously had a 911T...very different but more to do with the 30 year age difference. I drove a 997 for a few weeks and that was more like the Boxster S than my old 911.....flame suit on!!!

We welcome all…even Kiwi peeps.

I would love to drive some of those roads in the mountains on the way to skiing, scuba at the beach…now that you have a Porsche - you HAVE IT ALL!

Enjoy the Forum!

Welcome!

Wish you were my neighbor so you can help me with some of the maintenance. You make it sound as easy as changing a pair of socks ; )

New Zealand is one of the countries I most want to visit- nice to know you've got Porsches there.

Thanks for the welcome and kind words. I've got my signature sorted and tried to upload some pics but no luck so far. Will try again later.

Let me motivate you. I was there in March - the country is absolutely beautiful. I did see 2 Boxsters in my 2 weeks there.
