Wow ! a lot of mislaid or lost radio codes..
As a tip, what i have done with each of my cars is make a little card, business card sized on the computer (templates are available in word) with the radio and (and for the land rovers) the security codes.
You can even jazz it up with the maufacturer logo, and make it as OEM looking as you like, i then laminate it (laminators are as cheap as chips) and can make as many as i like, one in the manual wallet, one in the car file etc etc.
Not only is it helpful to have when you disconnect the electrics, its also handy for the next owner.
Just a thought.

I got the model and serial number by using the "hold down the TP button for 10 seconds and then use the right hand knob to display".
I found Porsche Resetting Radio Codes which has a Java-based code generator. It requests just the serial number in one box -- press the "Decode" button after entry. It
provided multiple choices of code, "first choice, second choice , etc" and the first choice 4-digit code worked for me.
Thanks to all who posted on this topic -- very helpful!

Stills works like a charm. Whew!!

Since you gave it an attempt, I tried and got INVALID as a response.
What year is your car?
If you have a CDR-23 and I believe CDR 22 , there is no radio code, it connects automatically to the immobilizer. If you got the radio from a different car, I believe you need someone with PWIS or maybe a Durametric to program it
It should just work when you plug it in and turn on the car.
