I received a Refund notice today from DDM Tuning for an order I placed yesterday for the clears. No explanation, just a refund notice. Will try to call them later today.

guess that's all folks. i did what i could. when i stop by i'll see if i can get an estimate on when they'll have new stock... albeit at this point i assume they won't, as i'm not sure Depo even makes new units anymore.

Being from the UK, I had a look at German ebay and there are many types of rear LED lights for Boxsters.
Has anyone bought any of these and if so what are they like.
They all look a bit Chinese...but isn't everything now.
Actually some don't look too bad.

Type "Boxster" in that section.

Man I put these things on when it wasn't even cool and was taking a risk on quality. I figure they were < $200 if they lasted a couple years it was worth it.

I'm looking for clear (non-smoked) DEPO tail lights. Must be able to ship to North America.

Does anyone have a source?

Guess I will thrown my hat into the ring as well. Put these bad boy smoked DEPO's on just over a month ago.

@Troutman - did they arrive yet? can you comment on quality and fit? That ebay seller has same bad feedback in places.

Installed mine the other night..took a bit of tweaking to get them somewhat lined up..I'm an anal guy I'll admit when it comes to body lines though.

I had to use a couple washers here and there to pull them out a bit at the sides, bend some tabs slightly to raise them up to match fender lines, loosen, tighten, loosen, toghten, push, lift and 2 beers later..voila.
I'll admit, the quality isn't a good as OEM but I didn't expect it to be. For $100, it's money well spent, brings the back end of the car up to date! I'll throw up a pic shortly.
All said..I would buy them again.

58,
Thats exactly the post i needed. I am more than anal when it come to the whole car, and panal gaps and lines has to be just about the biggest thing that upsets me.

I did have a concern that they may not sit like an OEM unit and would spoil 4 weeks of bare metal respray which the car is currently undergoing. (not by me though).

They are "workable" don't get me wrong..just takes a bit of finess. I could probably spend another 1/2 hour and get them close to perfect but..I was running out of beer and getting a sore back leaning in the trunk.
They are worth the $$$ for sure..you just can't expect to bolt them in and walk away (if you're an anal guy with body lines)
They do look much better than the stock amber lights!

I received my smoked lenses this week and installed them today. I like them better than the clear, but either are better than the OE.
I took picture of both lenses for comparison. I'll post them either later tonight or tomorrow.
