The cigarette lighter end you took off will have been + to center

Some 12v twin cords have a marking on the plus wire ------
Or if its coaxial the inner should be +

Hey,

Drop the AC and CD storage to the bottom and replace your stereo with a DD unit. The car will look much newer/modern inside.

Personally, installing the HVAC controls behind the shifter (done by Porsche after the introduction of virtually useless cupholders) was just plain bad ergonomics: the HVAC is harder to read, if the passenger attempts to make an adjustment it could interfere with shifting and if coffee spills, it tends to spill over the electronic HVAC controls.

Has anyone ever thought about deleting the center console and using it as space for a subwoofer enclosure?

I've seen the 6.5" sub hidden behind the console but maybe deleting it all together would allow for more space for a larger sub like an 8" or 10" without having to put it right by your head or sacrificing leg room. You might even be able to makeshift something along those lines out a the GT3 center console delete.

Maybe I'll investigate more and take some measurements. Anyone else had this idea yet?

I wanted to update you on the changes I made this past weekend... I used plasti-dip to coat the console surround and GPS housing to complete the integrated look.

I think it looks pretty amazing... If I do say so myself.
